No, we do not accept insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare. The therapists in our collective are out-of-network with all insurance companies. We can offer “tips” for talking to your insurance company about being reimbursed for what you pay. If you were to begin one of our comprehensive programs, you may request documentation (“super-bills”) to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. You can also use the website/app, Reimbursify, to simplify the process of submitting your out-of-network claims.

At this time, all individuals who are interested in our services will be added to a waitlist for assessment. We are unable to provide a specific estimate for when an assessment may be offered to individuals on the waitlist.
IMPORTANT: When an assessment opening becomes available, you will be contacted directly by one of our therapists. If they do not reach you, they will leave a voicemail and send an email. Please note that the phone number and email address through which you will be contacted will vary depending on the specific therapist contacting you. Please keep and eye out for calls/emails from unfamiliar numbers. If the therapist does not hear from you within the timeframe provided, they will move to the next person in line. Complete failure to respond to these contact attempts may result in removal from the waitlist.

The therapists in our collective adhere to a comprehensive DBT structure. Therefore, all clients receiving DBT services through GVL DBT Collective must participate in both individual therapy and skills training with member(s) of the collective.
-
Our therapists create their own schedules. Whether an evening or weekend appointment is available to you will depend on the therapist you are working with and their specific availability. Our multi-family skills groups (for adolescents/young adults) and our Radically Open-DBT (RO-DBT) groups are held in the evenings.

You can find more information about our programs here. For general information about DBT, please visit Behavioral Tech, LLC.
-
Generally, the length of treatment is based upon how long it takes clients to complete one cycle of skills training. For adults, this is anywhere from 9-12 months. For adolescents, this is approximately 7 months.

Currently, we do not have any psychiatrists who are members of GVL DBT Collective. However, we are happy to provide clients in our care with recommendations for psychiatrists outside of our collective. Please be aware that many psychiatrists have waitlists, and some may not be accepting new patients at the time we provide you with the referral/recommendation.

The office where your initial assessment will take place will be provided to you when the appointment is scheduled. Any subsequent therapy sessions will depend on the program, service, and therapist(s) recommended for the client. Please know you may need to travel to multiple office locations for your recommended services.
